Tennis Dress Code
Tennis
All white tennis attire, including socks and hats, is required at all time throughout the year. Colored warm-up clothing is permitted from October 1st - April 30th for outdoor tennis play only. All white warm-ups must be worn for indoor play year-round. Hats may not be worn backwards. Shirts with large printed images are not permitted.
Shoes: Proper white flat-soled shoes are required on all surfaces. Grass Court Tennis shoes are not permitted on the Grass Courts. Running shoes may not be worn since they damage the court surface. Shoes that have been worn on clay (Har-Tru) tennis courts may not be worn in the Exercise Room or on the machines as clay residue damages the equipment.
Squash
All white tennis wear, including sweatshirts, warm-ups and hats, is required at all times throughout the year. Protective eyewear with lenses is required on all players. Hats may not be worn backwards.
Shoes: Proper white flat-soled non-marking sneakers worn exclusively for squash. Shoes that have been worn on clay (Har-Tru) tennis courts may not be worn for squash as clay residue damages the court surface.
